Hi there! I’m Stephanie and I am the owner, operator, and sole hat wearer of The Country Porch Swing. My business was born out of an insatiable desire to build, create, and learn.

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where I started on this journey, but it was somewhere between refinishing furniture, hand painting signs, making jewelry, and then somehow owning two lasers and a bunch of power tools. I love working with my hands and if I could master every technology and skill, I certainly would.

Like most creators, I started out making soley for the joy of creating and it took off from there! Friends, family, coworkers all asking me to build them things and paint signs turned into “You should open an Etsy Shop.” I figured it was a great way to support my love for creating and now it has become my full-time gig!

About The Country Porch Swing. My ultimate goal for my business is to provide my customers with beautiful handmade and personalized gifts. I don’t like to box myself in and I am always up for a challenge when it comes to expanding my products and skills. I love all projects large and small.

Aside from creating, my passion is to help other creators! I truly enjoy collaborating with other makers and strive to be a contributing member of the maker community by sharing my knowledge and helping others. It’s amazing the things we can do when we combine powers and share knowledge.
